I am currently feeding my 17 week Red female Blue Buffalo Lamb and Rice protection formula. I was thinking of eventually switching her to Blue Wilderness, but I am not sure if this is a good thing due to elevated protein. At what age can she be switched over? Also, which formula of Blue Wilderness: Duck, Salmon, or Chicken is best? Thank you ahead of time for your responses

I couldn't find an answer to your question but here is a site that compares dog foods. There would be concerns about that high of protein in large breeds, but really I'm not sure. You know not to feed puppy food because it encourages them to grow too fast which is not a good thing in the larger dogs.

We feed Diamond Natural which our dogs do well on. We have a large garden so we add fresh veggies in the summer. They love green beans! We also add beef but only ever few weeks.

Be interest to know what others feed.
