Von's Accident

I heard that our friend von was in a motorcycle accident. Prayers for Von and his speady recovery.

Man, I'm still catching up on news- just saw a reference to this in another thread. I hope for the best for VonCossack; I am a rider as well, and have seen some pretty bad wrecks, but also have seen guys walk away from scenes you wouldn't have believed possible.

I got this email concerning Von and her permission to post. Von has been through a lot and anyone that has ever had or known someone with an accident like his takes a while to recover. He is making progress and hope we hear from him soon. Here is her email:

Von has been home about 1 week. He needs 2 - 4 more weeks before they will do the skin graft. They keep him pretty medicated but he is going to try to go on the computer this coming week. He is concerned he won't be able to get his thoughts down in writing. I keep telling him you all know him and will be patient with him. If it gets hard, say you have to go take a nap and take a break. I do think it will help him get is mind focused on something other than the injuries.
