How often do you do your dog's nails for show?

How often do you trim your dogs nails for show? What do you use?

I do nails every 3-4 days and I use a dremel. I just knock the edges off and it keeps them nice and short. Mine are used to the dremel, so 5 extra min on the floor with them they enjoy! :) Plus they know there's a "JACKPOT" after nails get done!!! (They aren't the least bit shallow are they?!!)

My daughter does our dogs and we do them about once a week. Some are shorter than others but she is working on getting them all the same. She dremels our dogs. Can't trust me with nail clippers because when they zig I zag.....:(

Thanks, I just wondered. I think I let Dagger's go too long during the winter. I use a dremel too and he's really good about it.

Now Lucy my old dog is not and that's my fault. You have to start them early.

Yes....once a week is good at our house. If I am in a hurry I clip them and then dremel to round them off.:)
