My name is Jessica, but everyone calls me Jessie. My boyfriend and I are looking at getting a Doberman puppy this year, so we have been searching online for places/people who might know of where can find some in Michigan. I'd also be good to have fellow owners that may help us if we run into any issues later. :] Both of us are 25 and plan on starting a family in the near future. :D

Welcome to the Hub. I always recommend checking out the DPCA Breeder referral section as you can look for breeders in your specific area. There are a couple other post on things to look for when looking for a good breeder -
1. Member of DPCA
2. Works, trains and/or shows their own dogs
3. Does health testing
4. Has good knowledge of the breed
5. Gives support
6. Does the puppies ears so you don't have to try to learn what needs to be done
