Looking for some info. I'd like to hear from those that have pet insurance. Is it worth it or not?

Thanks in advance guys.

This is the one we're looking in to. I think it is only a Canadian company, but I'm not sure.

Thats actually a really good idea. at first to me it sounded like a scam :) But it actually looks really neet and a lot cheaper for medical stuff.

I'm in the process of getting a quote I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

This is something we think most people should look in to. With an aging dog, or any dog for that matter, vet bills add up fast.

Our last Doberman, Mav, in two weeks costs us 1800 bucks.

For sure, I didn't know this was an option, or I would have been all over this.

I just opened up a savings account for my puppy. i put 50 bucks a week into it. I now have a couple grand saved just in case something happens. Which i hope nothing does :)

Great Idea. Why give the bank your money. With a puppy you can probably get away with 50 dollars by-weekly.

I think if your able to put the money away each month, do it. It's your money, you should make it work for you. With insurance it's lost money. On average, most people will put in more money than they get back.
