View Full Version : Reagon, our new rescue
Reagon arrived today and is looking for a forever home. She is just a lovely doberman, housetrained and has some obedience training. She is a deep red rust and black, spayed, with all her shots etc. She has natural ears and a "melt me face." She doesn't like yapping small dogs but gets long with other dogs and isn't dog aggressive. If you might be interested in her, go to www.dobermanrescuegroup.org and fill out an application. She's worth it!
Pictures coming very soon.:D
Big Hugz to Reagan!!! Lets hope her forever home comes along soon!!!

Woo hoo, way to go Becky! Best of luck with Reagan. Our group director has informed me I may be fostering again soon, possibly this week... looking forward to it!
I will get pictures of her today. She is so sweet and fat. We are working on her weight slowly. She grins. Now my dogs grin but Reagon is like all into it teeth snarling, dimples, I mean the dog grins wide! Funniest thing I've ever seen. She's adjusting but as you know it takes them awhile. Changes are hard on them, even if for the best.
Here are a few pictures of Reagon. She'll be on the rescue website soon. She is a sweet dog. Loves to play ball and has some obedience training. She is crate trained and housetrained now and she smiles. :D

She could be a sister to my Deano, floppy ears and all! :D
You are right, Marcia did say that most peope prefer cropped ears but she will find a home. Not all people care about ears. She will have a forever home this go around. Just a shame that she had to be rehomed. Dobermans prefer to stay with the family they adore and not have to play musical chairs. She is adjusting and will do fine with her new family.
I just thought some of you would like to see her. :) Does your girl need a friend? LOL

I agree I don't think she will have a problem finding a home. She just oooozes sweetness from the pictures. Hope they find her a home soon.
I delivered Reagon to her new home today. She loved the people. She just hated my hardwood floors and they have carpet. She rolled on it. Funny dog that she is........the couple that took her had 2 dobermans rescues in the past so it's a great home. She did try and leave with me when I walked out the door, but they said quickly got interested in her new family.
I don't think she had ever been in a car much and she was a little nervous going over there. My dogs just hop in and look for the boggies. To top it off it was thundering etc. She was a good girl and was really glad to get to the house. She was just hestitant of new things, but by in large not a fearful dog. I'm sure it was training and lack of experiences. I think she'll learn to live a great life now. Hope all works out.
The one thing that really bothered me about this happy ending is that the doberman rescue chair said that it was an older couple. They didn't look too much older than me............Dang! Maybe I'm not as young as I feel. LOL.:D

Becky we are not getting older......don't even say that LOL. We are like a fine wine we just get better as we age. Glad to hear that Reagon has a new forever home. I think that is great. I sure she will adjust very quickly. Another job well done.

I just love happy endings. :D Great job Becky!
Thanks Snuzer from Reagon. Ya just wonder where the breeders are of these dogs. Such a shame really. She was a good girl and wanted to be the best.
