Beneful Dog Food

I have a boston terrior and he eats Beneful. Is that sufficient enough for my Doberman or should I get a better quality food for him. I want him to be healthy and strong. What food would you recommend?

I do not recommend any of the commercial grade dog foods. Dobes are sensitive and a grain free good is far better for them. No puppy food or calcium for a dobe.

I feed my two raw but in a pinch will fall back to orijen kibble .

Most of the commercial foods are IMHO nothing more than the dumping grounds for the waste products from the human food chain .

We feed Diamond Natural but we also cook for the dogs about once a week. We have a cow butched for us and we share it with the dogs, adding fresh veggies in the summer. We also add kelp to their food. Their coats are nice and we have never had problems with it.
