Very nice picture. If we had the room, we would have 4 dogs as well.

Are these your dobies? What a set :) I have a blue and a red, both with natural ears and no one realizes they are dobies. The ears and color are not what folks are expecting.

When we take our guys out we get the same response, "what kind of dogs are they?"

fantastic pic, the black one has my dino's stance to a T... the blue one looks a proper old boy.

http://txpinschers.com/dobiecolors.jpgThe dog that you call a WHITE, does not really look like a white but rather a fawn..Whites generally do not have the darker rust markings as does your dog. I also own a fawn, very dark, moreso than most. I have seen some that lack color and some that look almost like a Weimaraner. But then I am a sucker for RED boys, they could have 5 legs and 2 heads and I am good to go as long they are red..!!!

Yes I agree with you Tidibole. That is a fawn doberman not white. I did find three pictues of a white doberman that are maybe a little better to show what a white looks like in comparison to a fawn on the internet. But I do want to state that I don't breed, own or condone the breeding of whites so please don't anyone send me hate either. There is a valid reason for not breeding them and I would refer you to the DPCA website to read further accurate information on why they should not intentionally be bred. As a matter of fact just for informational purposes only and your dog's registration number begins with WZ you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your dog carries the Z-factor otherwise known as the white gene.

There are 4 approved colors of Dobermans - Black, blue, red and fawn. the whites are a genetic defect and do not have the rust makrings and they have icey blue eyes. The picture you posted are beautiful pictures of a black, blue, red and fawn.
And the blues and fawns are riddled with skin problems in many many cases.
My sons mother in law has a rescue blue and while she is loved, her skin is a constant problem.
I would encourage anyone thinking of a doberman for the first time, to be very careful to research the skin on these delutes. There are some with good coats. I've seen a few.
