*sighhhh* trying to calm down here, trying not to drive to this ladies house and eat her alive...
we have a local back yard breeder/puppy mill that was SUPPOSED to be moving and selling all her dogs and getting out of the business. oh i was so relieved to hear this.
you see i had seen an ad for an 11 month old black and rust doberman female in need of a home. dad was 127 lbs. mom was 85 akc registered and pregnant. i called. they were asking 150. I asked for a picture and this is what she sent me

the dogs name was taya. they had her and their other 9 dobermans in 4 panel kennels 3 to a kennel with one dog house, one bowl of water and one food bowl. if there was a dominant dog, no one else ate their ol' roy for the day. she also breeds her 5 old english bulldogs. she plays this role of loving breeder to the puppy buyers and sells for as much as a lower cost reputable breeder. she drops the puppies off she wont allow a home visit. SURPRISE.
anyways. i told her i'd give her 100.00 she said she has made more off the pups she wanted 150.
upon inspecting the dog, i told her i'd give her 5 bucks and not call the cops. oh that upset her a little. but we ended up with the dog who out of HUGE parents weighed 41.3 lbs due to malnutrition and being attempted to be bred twice in her state. she had no hair and didnt even know how to run outside of a kennel.
this is her the first night we got her. a bath was desperately needed to get mud and fleas off.

now i see an ad on a local site for the same lady in the same area selling more pups from the same dogs. it just simply drives me NUTS to see this i want to call someone to do something! this is ridiculous because so many people buy dogs off this lady hundreds a year i have met many of them with their dogs with severe temperment problems and health issues. its awful!!! i really just want to drive my big truck up there load the dogs up and run over her "kennels" and then straight through her house. but then again i've never been big on the thought of jail time....
i sent her many pictures and said wow isnt it amazing what food does fora dog? she obviously didnt understand it was an insult because she emailed me back saying how much the boys miss taya and how they loved her. it made me laugh.. and not a happy laugh... an evil amused laugh...i just dont know what to do! is there anything that can be done to stop this lady? she claims to love her dogs so much. then i say to her FEED THEM she sticks them in a kennel and just breeds breeds breeds

thats tator bug now, she is my petsmart training demonstration dog. she loves everyone and spins circles just because she can.
ALSO!!! monday may 17th 10pm on animal planet, an exclusive investigation on PETLAND a local petstore some know about that supports puppy mills. spread the word this is worth watching.

It is okay Grace Tator has a new home and wonderful life now. And I am sure between the three of us including Kristen we will get her shut down. Keep documenting everything. Everything.....everything.
We will beat this. And you behave yourself......you can't do any jail time when you are going to be a mom. Silly rabbit. There are people on this list that do rescue and I am sure that they may have some suggestions for you. Hang in there girl.

OMG, that poor girl! She looked filthy and ate up by fleas. She is fortunate you pulled her out of that hell-hole.
There is a lady just north of me I'd love to get shut down. Her dogs don't appear to be in the shape Taya was in, but she breeds them constantly, pumping out litters ALL the time. She has an ad running at any given time. I've taken in a few foster dogs bred by her and trying to get something done. I may only be one voice at the moment, but someone IS going to hear me!!!
And yes, I'd like to snatch her by the head of hair and shake the crap out of her! Grrrrr
I don't know the laws in your state but Oklahoma has always had laws to protect dogs from this type of thing. I would call and find out what agency governs her. Sometimes, you just have to call and ask questions. I would also show them the picture of this dog. This looks like a case of neglect to me.
The one thing you do not want to do is to get yourself in trouble. Do it the right way and notify those that can charge her. If this dog is like this, I'm sure there are others. And do not give her your information. These people have to be nuts to let a dog go like this.
Good for you for not buying the dog. When you buy a dog from people like that, you support them and they continue to abuse animals. They look for money and if you give it, they keep on keeping on......:eek:
When you work in rescue and see this type of thing, you understand why some breeders will not allow you to resale their dog or will not let them go on full registration. Sad sad things that people can do to dobermans and dogs for a buck. Call on her now!

We just recently heard of a rescue story here in Indiana where there were three dobermans being raised in the back of a semi truck trailer. I kid you not one of them weighed 8 pounds at four months of age.

The more I hear about people, the better I love my dog. You just have to wonder where these humanoids come from. Sure no one I've ever know to do that to a dog. Justice for these kind come swift sometimes......lol.....

not swift enough is right. i've always been the kid seeing a skinny stray and keeping it in the empty chicken shed and feeding it. (thats how we got buddy) you see my parents made two mistakes... giving me a fast golfcart to catch the dogs (at 10 years old i had mastered diving off of it) and they told me if you feed an animal it will stay. so feed i did! now that im older i just wanna go crazy on people. its getting worse and worse. we saw a boxer and an american bulldog on our way home from our mothers day dinner, the bulldog was hairless but not thin, just not paid any attention to. the boxer had a collar and wouldnt even put his left hind on the ground it hurt him so bad! how can you let your dog live like that?! so we fed them my leftovers from dinner and some doggy biscuits i had in the truck. people are sick! i bet if their foot hurt they'd go to the doctor real soon. i bet if they were hungry they'd stuff their faces.
the more and more i see the more and more respect i lose for human kind.

I say we call the cops on this lady Grace.....whats the worst that could happen when we go there with them, I doubt this psycho has just all of a sudden started being "Pet Owner of the Year" If we keep calling and turning her in they will have to do something eventually.....
And if we get in trouble.....at least the cops wont have a huge fight on their hands......how hard could it be to arrest a cute little pregnant girl and a crazy fat girl? We would get out eventually and you know we would look so cute in orange!

You two better both behave yourselves I cannot have both of my handlers in jail due to rescue dog issues......I know it makes us all sick to hear of these types of things. The good thing is that there are also people out there like the members of this list and you two troublemakers to help with the bad situations in the world. Tator and your current rescue dogs ladies are in better hands because you cared to make a difference. So one doberman at a time....or one dog at a time. We will make a difference.
And if the two of you think you would look cute in orange I will buy you orange suits for the showring. It would look totally awesome with a black and rust doberman.

I cant agree more!!! hehehe! they'd have to tazor us in jail to keep us from talking and laughing hahah!!!they'd be so annoyed they'd pay rhiannon to get us out of there!
i plan on contactin the local shelters for a plan of action and if they say go to the cops then i wont hesitate. im done with this lady i've had enough this last couple weeks of irresponsible breeding and abuse cases im not letting this one slip under the fence without some action!
Ok girls, just report them and don't go over there and start a stir. You need to keep yourself safe first! If she isn't shut down, keep calling. After awhile, they will get tired of you calling.
Magtie, it makes us all sick and gives breeders that love and care for their dogs and puppies a bad rap. There is no reason for people to do this to any animals, especially a doberman. Just bad breeding.....and some people just should of be fixed......uck!

i contacted the shelter for that area and also another shelter for another byb multi breed puppy mill that i know of. this other one is worse than the first and they breed about 7 different kinds of dogs and have horses in terrible condition. the shelter for the worse one contacted me saying they have contacted the state prosecutor and the sherriffs office and to watch the newspaper for more news about this as they are getting ready to go in and sieze all the animals. i told them i know of a really great foster lady on 115 acres thats awesome at finding doggy homes! they want me to take the dobes and the horses. we will see how this goes! so far victory is ours!

It is a shame you have to report this type of thing. Some people just are the worst and should own animals at all. It is why we have laws.
I wonder why they want more laws when they can't enforce the ones they have?

i also got an email today for the breeder tator came from, they have delt with calls about her before and recognized her by name. authorities were already alerted today. thats two down!
All I can say is be careful. Let them handle it. In our area, they do a good job when they know. The problem is they can't enforce the current laws......and not sure what will happen with more. Seems like it will be the good guys that pay.

Unfortunately, some of these dogs will go on to produce also... Greeders like that don't care where the pups end up. As long as they get a few bucks for them they'll sell to anyone (and usually the first one) flashing cash. Obviously this little girl is from poor quality dogs with who knows what in her genetics... and to think, pups like this are being placed with papers .... revolting.
Even if it's just one shut down at a time, it's well worth the effort!

youre story really touched my heart .i just dont how people could do this to their dogs it also makes me sick .we raise dobermans but i could never treat my dogs like that we keep all our dogs in the house with us at night and during the day they all play out in our large back yard .we had a lady want to purchase one of our puppies but we looked into her background on her dog breeding facilities and we refused to sale her a puppy .because she had her dobermans tied to a chain in her yard and also had min pins in a cage in the house 3 dogs to a cage.and she sold her dogs as wdrc .i will not ever put my dogs in those circumstances .we screen before we place.thank you for youre story .

I am sorry to see that this has infiltrated the Hub. Everyone here works to play nice in the sandbox so when someone comes on from another forum where they have already been caught in several lies it makes it hard. As mentioned previously misleading and out right telling stories will be found out in today's whirlwind of internet searches.
Please don't try to start anything here. We already know you and you did not get off to a good beginning. Truth speaks to character and truth and honesty are regarded above all else.

Oh my gosh.....I am sorry to see this has infiltrated Doberman Hub as well...I guess I better keep checking daily I leave for a few days and come back and OMG look what has been going on ......it is like a soap opera......LOL. Thanks for bringing this to light though so that maybe anyone who runs across this will know to beware.

I'm not sure what is going on hear with DLS and Kimipool12 and I really do not care to know but this isn't how we choose to interact hear. I'f that is what you do please leave that part of you at Doberman Chat!
I took one look at Kimipool's website and I can not support her in any way. When people come on and post a few times advertising show pups that clearly could not be, don't health test, and aren't here to learn......I can't support that. The website says it all for me.
Now if Kimipool wants to learn, I'm all for it- provided she spays everyone of those dogs.
I don't read DC but I do know DLS is a strong supporter of rescue which I respect.
This is just my opinion.
