OMG this is just unbelievable what people will do for a buck. It takes all kinds to make this world, but this is just SICK! I think this is just a huge crime against dogs and against the real rescues that work so hard.

This person claimed to be a rescuer and vet. He was not a vet and not a rescue. They were stealing dog! That's scary!

All real rescues require a spay neuter, most are 501 or have references, they don't sell unhealthy sick dogs and dogs are temperament tested. They check out the homes. Ask questions and know where they get their dogs. Reminds me of PETA that puts on TV ads and doesn't spend most of their money on the dogs.

The Sr. Dog project and DPCA run great dobe rescues. There are others, but I think you have to ask questions. Sad.

We had a local shelter that, while it was a legitimate 501C, fooled everyone into believing that they were so broke the animals wouldn't be fed without their help, only to learn that they were sitting on a slush fund of over a million dollars and able to live quite comfortably off the interest. They also had a semi trailer parked behind their place full to the brim with pet food. Yet, their canisters were placed all over town pleading for money to feed the animals in their care. Why can't people just be honest???

Most rescue people and organizations are wonderful giving people that benefit dogs. It is a shame that a few try to benefit off the backs of rescues. I mean that's just unbelievable what people can do to man's best friend. It takes all kind to make this world. Best to check out rescues before just donating.

I think PETA is a good example of raising money off the hearts of animal lovers and then, using money for something else. I still can't get over paying octamom thousand for a sign in her yard. I just don't think people donated for that.

We have an organisation here in the UK,called the RSPCA,this is a charity but a very famous one.You always see there fundraisers out shaking there tins and i know most of there money gets tied up in administration to which i find a joke!
Now they have just announced that they are starting to refuse dogs entry to there kennels cos they have not got the room. This is bullplop, they get millions of pounds and you find that most of these charities are sitting on there money as they are scared to where the next penny is coming from.

This is very sad to hear but I know you are right about how you feel. Do you have problems in the UK with anti dog and anti breeding legislation like we have here in the US? It would be very interesting to hear how things are in other countries as well as here.
