Hi, I am wondering if anyone has a dog from Silverhawk Dobermans and what their experiences have been. No, I am not the breeder or a breeder. I am simply looking for opinions from people that HAVE a dog from there. Maybe some photos too.

I've never had any personal dealings with Silverhawk, but I love YOGI!

I knew Yogi when he was clyde... :) My female was the 1st to breed to him and I kept a male named Reeper out of him. My good friend was so impressed with the litter she used him as well (when he was clyde) and I own a female from that breeding as well. I have photos of him from back then if you want to contact me for them, I will say that he has a wonderful personality and that the two that I own are as big of clowns if not bigger then their sire... :) I contacted Beth when I found out that she purchased him, and she still giggles to this day when I call his clyde/yogi..... :) here are some pictures of him back when he was clyde :)

This is all great. Thanks for the information!! He is a beautiful Dober. I got some messages wondering if I was going to make an appointment with Silverhawk. I am. I apologize for not responding quicker, I was out of town at a wedding.

I would also love to know how he got his registered name. I talked to Mary Rogers a while back. She's very nice.

Yogi is truely an amazing boy, he is every bit as wonderful as he is beautiful ! He loves to lay on the couch and have his huge chest rubbed, he loves to do anything we are doing, get a ball out a prepare to rumble, his ball drive is crazy !!! We haven't been to many shows this year and I'm sure he misses traveling with his handler Kristen and I , he jumps from one bed to the other torn between whom to snuggle with at night. We always thought he was one of a kind, but then we bred him and kept a boy from the Yogi x Faith litter '09 and his son Drummer is a true testament to his father , simply gorgeous as well as excellent disposition . We knew we were blessed the day Yogi found us but we only had a small clue as to what that would really mean. we hope to finish his AKC championship but even if it does not happen , he will always be champion of our hearts ...

So funny little story and TOTALLY TRUE~ Mari B. owned clyde in colorado springs where I am from and I heard that she had a nice stud never been used before and I was looking for a stud for my Eddie granddaughter. So I met Mari B. and she had told me she had gotten two from Mari R but had lost the female to a bloackage, so she pulls out the file on the dogs getting clydes papers work the female was Dolly, anyways, there it is just " CLYDE" that was his whole registered name, and I just started to laugh. I asked her Mari, whowants to breed to CLYDE? just CLyde really, I beleive that yr Mari R was breeder of the yr and I told Mari B she needed to get on the phone and have that changed because she wanted Marienburg in clydes name, just not Clyde, so she called them the next day and right there on the phone the lady told her O yeah you do want Marienburg on this dogs registered name, so she tried to call me to think up a name becasue they wanted one right then and there but i was at Dr so mari B said she just told them Marienburg's New Begginng... and Clyde was gone forever..... GO YOGI!!!

I just love that story !! Thank you Jennifer for getting that one fixed before it was too late !! I told my husband when Yogi was on his way to us by airplane that we had to come up with a new name, just couldn't do the "Clyde" So as soon as my husband seen his face he said "Yogi" and well it stuck well, we called him Yogi /Clyde for about 3 weeks and then dropped the Clyde and he took right to it. You call him Clyde now and he doesn't even aknowledge it. I am hoping to hit a show here in September with him and his son Drummer.
He is still a big goof and will lift your spirit guaranteed !! He is always the favorite no matter where we go he draws that crowd and he loves every second of it !!

Ha ha what a SMALL world! I am gonna get a puppy from them in January!

So far my dealings with them have been phenomenal- very patient and knowledgeable. From shopping around a lot they seem to offer the best deal around and also are a pleasure to work with.

I will definitely be posting a ton of pictures when I get my girl from them!!
