Did everyone here get their Doberman from a breeder? I actually got Pointer from a friend of mine whose Doberman had a litter of puppies. All my other dogs, I got from a breeder though.

Yeah we got Magnum from a breeder. A personal choice for people i think. By going with a reputable breed it helps to ensure strong blood lines, and keeps the breed beautiful and healthy. Backyard breeders often aren't concerned where their dogs comes from, which can result in mixed blood lines.

Yes, I bought my doberman from a reputed breeder. I got it from a breeder after extensive research about the nature, health, looks of that breed and after consulting my friends who already own dobermans and a successful veterinary physician.
