Newman Preparing For His Canoe Trip

We're taking Newman on his first canoe trip this weekend. A few weeks ago we were getting him use to a canoe, and swimming with his life jacket!!

Adorable!! At least he's not scared of water!! We had one that was absolutely terrified. I often said it was his own reflection that scared him!
Looks like you are going on an adventure with that one! Lol!

If you are going to the Lake of Two Rivers, watch out for the creeks, full of mosquitos should you hit the shore and the water is stagnant! My cousins dog always insisted jumping in that crap rather than the lake. She was so stinky all week. Had to buy shampoo on the last day to make her smell good enough for us to tolerate her in the car on the way home!!
Looks like he'll enjoy himself. I love Algonquin. Go there, or try to, every year.:D

yeah the name "newman" is just so perfect for a dog. When he does something bad you can just say "NEWMAN!!"
