Snow

Now I know they say that Dobies don't do well in cold weather, but for you guys who live up north and get a lot of snow how are your Dobies with the snow, ice, and cold weather? Obviously they must like it no? know some people put sweaters and socks on there dogs but do you guys do anything different?

I lived in NY state for about 2 years with my prior dobie.. it just became more of an inside dog issue. He stayed in with me mostly. He did gamble out thru the snow drifts and I have a wonderful picture of him looking like a rabbit jumping thru the snow with his natural ears flipped up. It also made him more concerned about tiled floors because with wet feet he was always slipping. I do have a little coat for my current red because her coat is kind of thin only use it if the temps are really cold, mostly she just snuggles with me under a throw inside watching TV.
