Nauseous Rider

Does any one have a dobie that gets car sick? Apollo doesn't but his sister does. One you go near my truck he thinks he's going for a ride and gets ready to jump in. He always sits in the passenger seat with the window wide open and lips flapping in the wind it's hilarious. I've heard that if your dog gets car sick to just keep taking him/her for a ride and eventually they will get use to it. I don't think so, but maybe I'm wrong?

My first rottie was car sick.. my dobie was not. She never did like the car rides, but did grow out of the car sickness. Time ...

Magnum loves the car. Can't get enough of it. We have a sun roof on our car and when we open it Magnum puts his head out through it. It has to be one of the funniest looking things.

Most of the time I never have this problem. My female did get sick in the car once, though, and I finally figured out it was because I'd just given both dobermans their monthly heartworm medicine shortly before we left the house so I don't think this counts as true motion sickness.

My Dobes love to ride! They go at least twice a day. Once when I drop the kids off at school and once when I pick them up. Thank goodness no motion sickness though - Good Luck resolving that.
