Glad you all liked the list. Having been to quite a few shows and watched many more on television, I've started recognizing some of the names of dogs who have competed in multiple shows. It's nice to see their names on the winners list.

I must admit, though, it's much nicer to see my own dogs' names on the winners list!

Your best place to get an evaluation is a trainer/handler. Check the AKC website for a trainer offering confirmation training near you and let them evaluate your dogs. There may also be handlers around you that can assist. If you are really interested in confirmation showing I would recommend you attend a couple of shows.. find the dobies and get to talking to the handlers. They can connect you .

First I would llfind some quality show breeders in your area and ask them for help. Now keep in mind they tend to try to get you to get rid of what you have and buy from them but just say no you just want info at this point.

I know Teresa Nail is in Texas and she is an excellent Doberman breeder and handler. You can find how to contact her by going to AKC judges and looking up her info.
