Thanks everybody. She really enjoys it and is always excited when when it comes to her bite work LOL. Since one of our members is a K9 handler,s he will get some Police K9 training as well. He offert me to teach her some Streetwork, thats so cool and i can't wait. Thats what is a working dog all about, to be good in a lot of things. I started her when she was a itty bitty thing with posted ears and right from the beginning she loved it :) I'll post more pic's soon i get new ones :)

The pictures just reminded me these pictures show how a Doberman differs from Shepperd's and Malinois who lead with there mouth a Doberman leads with there mouth and front legs at the same time. Theres some other differences but that is the most prominent. Shepperd's also usually hold at the first bite Doberman s have a tendency to let go and grab again which you have to work with them on. Although I believe the Dobe is much more agile and if you want to see it in action play tug with them and wave your hand or foot back and forth at there front feet they will pick them up 99% of the time before you touch them and never leave go. Shepperd's wont you will run into there front feet 99% of the time.

We have mals at the club and they do the same thing, work with mouth and frontlegs and Aesa holds very well with the first bite too. The club i go to, has mostly GSD's, so i see them all the time and i see them bite and rebite too, so i think thats not a specific things of a specific breed ;)

Aesa is beautiful. I love the pictures of her heeling. I do a 'moderated' version of Focus Heeling. It suits me fine, but I LOVE watching Dobe's do it properly.

Since i'm from germany and i do know the original or old SCH training, i still have a hard time to get to use to the new Heeling. Before your dog had to be on your left side in the right position, but had to look straight forward, that would make more sense , because he had to watch what goes on around him and to be allert and to protect, now with "head up looking in your face" heeling, how can they do that ????
The change a lot over the years and i think slowly they been changing it again, same with some of the commands. Its was FASS forever and now people tell me that is not "political correct" WTH
But i still love it, so guess i just go with the flow LOL ;)

Shes doing very well Tina, and you are also. No bending over and not to much cheating tipping off whats next hahahaha and I agree with the heads up heel position, I think its ridiculous even in an sport exhibition. In PP theres no way that posture could be tolerated its just makes no sense. Hate the prong, like the big red collar looks good on her black coat. Talk later! Von

Hehehehe Vc i knew you would say something about the prong :p
The red collar is her US MARINE Honore collar , she is a real devil dog now ;)
