View Full Version : Introducing Chase :)
So i came onto this forum in search of more opinions/experiences with Doberman skin issues. My first post is in the Health section, so i thought i would make a thread on introducing my dog Chase. He is a 2.8yr Red Doberman, bloodlines/breeder is unknown. I got him in August 2010 from a guy who didnt have the time for him and didnt want to deal with a large energetic breed.
So, here he is the day i got him:
41kg of Chubbiness

Chase is beautiful. I love his 'blocky' face and short-cut crop.
Christmas was very interesting for him, new smells, new people, and snow!!

Oh my gawsh. I adore ratties. Dobes and rats are the best. :D
Chase really is a handsome dude. Was that his name in his previous home, or did you change it?
He can be a bit of a goof:

Zhar! I love it. Chase suits him better though. ;) I'd have to change my dogs name if I rescued. I'd feel terrible if everytime I called "Buddy" he thought it was his previous owner calling...
The pictures are great. Keep 'em comin'!
And here he is a few weeks ago, back up to 41kg sans fat :)

He's a handsome boy!
Thanks guys :) One good thing that came from his previous home was that he never lost his social skills with other dogs.

Thank you :) For the first few months he was very lethargic, would just lay there. After switching foods and slowly increasing exercise, he really came out of his shell and LOVES it when i bring out the 'bike' leash to go out biking by the creek.
Just a few more of him :o

He's so handsome!! And manly! :) I *love* the picture of him and his nose upclose. You can really tell how much of a lush he is.
I do a lot of photography and the photo posted yesterday by the tree is really well done. Nice shot!
