Hi All

I have been able ,at last, to find a Doberman breeder here in Thailand...

She is called" Leigh" aged 16 weeks now and one problem that need fixing...

She has a lovely coat BUT there are a few blemishes about half inch in lenght on her back hindquaters and legs, probally done throuhgh playing etc nothing toooooo serious but would like any advice how to treat or will they go over time ?, They are like small scars/blemishes and grey in colour where the fur is missing.

Any advice gratefully recieved

Cheers

Paul

Did the breeder tell you these were from bite marks? I would hate to rule out an unrelated skin condition.

I would take the puppy to the vet and have a skin scapping done to rule out everything. Doesn't look like a bite mark by that picture. Young puppies should have beautiful skin and it could be many things. Bite mark unlikely by the picture because they aren't round.

Does this look like staff to anyone? My puppy had it and he did get pustules and some hair loss but it was not clustered like these photos. The spots were more wide spread and there werent any areas of complete hair loss, just thinning.

went to the vets who took skin scprapenigs, nothing shown up. he thought it was an infection under the skin, gave me some white cream to rub on the marks, he didnt see seem concered at all. he thought it might be where the dog has been in laying someting and has caused a "subcontoeis" small infection ?

Glad to hear you took your dog in. Hopefully the medication works!
