Hi all

Please help with a problem i am never had with any of my dogs in twenty years. I have had GSD, SHARPIE, PUG OVER my last thirty years.I have given a loving home to a 5 months Doberman bitch. (got her when she was 11 weeks)She lives in the house along with my 5 months GSD Bitch, They get on great, the Doberman has one big problem!! i cannot get her to relieve herself outside, she is regarully walked, she "sometmes" goes to wee outside in the street but this is rare. She will come inside, the door is open, she has the complete run of the garden, she plays outside BUT will come inside and wee in front of me!! when the door is shut!!

The final straw was two nights ago, i know a lot of you will NOTcondone this BUT i allow her to sleep on my bed (as i have always done with all my previous dogs with no problems at all BUT over the past three night she has urinated ON THE BED whilst i was in it !

This cannot continue, If any one has a magic cure please share it with me, remember this is a totally new expierence for me, she has been praised contiully when she wee goes outside, I would consdier myself a "expienced dog owner but NEVER owned a Dobermann.

I live in Thailand and is very hot, she has a contuall supply of fresh water and drinks a lot (as she should). Cant work it out, what is hapening, is it a dominance thing?, ANY HELP WILL REALLY BE APPRECIATEd:mad: to stop this habit

Many thanks.

I would suggest supervised outtings and making sure she pees BEFORE allowed to come back in. Yes, dogs should have an ample supply of water, however, a pup should be restricted at night. No water after a certain time, and make sure she pees, not just goes out, but actually pees, before you turn in for the night and NO water during the night.
