2.5 weeks of cropped ears

my doberman is 2.5 weeks into his ears being posted (medium crop) and it seems the muscles in his head are becoming strong enough to make the tips of his ears whenever he perks them to touch or come very close to touching. when he is relaxed they look right the correct position.

this is a sign that the ears may point inwards?

thoughts?

tips?

I'm no expert by any means, are you leaving him unposted for any period of time? We never left ours unposted except for changing tape. To me, it does look like the ears are leaning inward, but it's hard to tell from pictures. What method are you using?

Looked at the pic again and the right ear looks like it might be wrinkled/crinked. Make sure the ears are pulled up really good when you post.

For only a few posts the ears are standing good. You might want to leave the middle post off so the ears will not pull in. That is usually caused from that center post. Looks like that to me. Remember now that you should not stop posting even if they are standing perfectly because most will fall until the puppy is through teething.

Sue is right, pull the ears up and make sure they don't slip down. They have to stick good to the tape and not slip down or you'll get pockets and more work!
