Get the squirrel..?

The squirrels have been tormenting our guy lately. Sitting at the bottom of trees chattering and then running just out of his reach when he runs after them. Then coming back down again to antagonize him.

They were giving him a really hard time the other day, so he started stalking them and seeing how close he could actually come without them running.

It's a BIG game for our dobe and lab. They both go nuts when they see a squirrell and have as much pleasure "treeing" them. It makes their day.

We don't help the situation any either when we're constantly saying "get the squirrel".

We really try to get them from going after them, but when you have a 65 lb. dobe who's
determined to get the squirrel, you just hold on and go for the ride. Lucy thinks she can climb the tree after it.

My pup, Riley, likes to check the trees for squirrels. However, her favorite chase is the lizards.... they are everywhere here in FL!

Yep Magnum goes squirrley for the squirrels. He cries when he's chasing them because he can't catch them.
