AKC survey on Limited Reg.

AKC sent me a survey asking questions on limited reg. and how and why I used it. Guess they are looking at revising that too. I was glad to see they said they are sending it out to breeders that have puppies reg. limited in the last two years or a select #. Be interesting to see how that works out. They asked it be completed by 12/30/11.

Anyone else get one?

Question like why you gave limited, did you ever reverse the limited reg., did you ever place your pups and not reg. them with the AKC at all, did you participate in events, which ones, very complete survey actually.

What is it they could add to the Limited Registration? No offspring of a dog w/ Limited Reg can be registered, so what else could they possibly add to that?

Do you think maybe if Reg Applications granting Full Reg were required to be mailed in would help? That way a Rep has the actual application in hand and can see if it has been altered in any way. With only Limited Reg being allowed to be done on line?

The survey didn't say why they were asking me about limited reg. It did ask if I released the papers to full and was that important. It asked why I would put a dog on limited too. What activities I did or my puppies etc. And a write in section of if I thought it was beneficial.
