New Swelling on jaw

Well my poor little girl Sara is having a time. She is my red dobie and has had a rough time lately. About a month ago she had a corneal abrasion (hurt like heck) and now she has a swelling on her upper jaw. We went to the vet and they are not sure if it is a bug bite or a tooth issue. So we are trying some antibiotics and will see with dental xray soon. boo hoo :(:(

Swelling is all gone now.. but I'm having a dental xray and exam tomorrow. If it is a tooth issue they will take it out when they do the xray (she is knocked out). If not the tooth, then I guess I'm out the $$. :(

Poor baby is in for Xray today, wow I was stunned at the expense. My equine vet takes digital xrays of my horse's feet for about $30 a shot. These guys want $170 for two shots! EEEKKK!

She is back from the vet and recovered. They decided not to take the tooth. The xray showed that she has basically given herself a root canal. The vet thinks it is due to some sort of trama. Banging her head against something and that it will resolve with just the antibiotic. Whew.
