Ok. who has the best treats for training? I have been using a combination of the Turkey Jerky (american only), dried liver (very expensive). I have also tried hot dogs, but to get the fat out you have to microwave them desicated and that smells up the house. So, I just started using an actual dog food. I got this from an instructor. There is a roll/tube of dog food you can buy inexpensively that is made with lots of meat (Lamb is the choice of the instructor and I'm going with that). You can then just slice it off and crumble little bits for treats. It is moist and nice for them. Since my dogs are not feed alot pre-class I feel better with them getting dog food rather than a steady stream of treats. And this stuff is definately a big step up from Kibble. :)

I know the one you are talking about...but I can't think of the name either. Leave it with me though.

Pet Botanics - lamb and brown rice dinner is what I'm using (I happen to have a roll in the fridge right now).

We've used Cheerios, yes Cheerios, various kibble and Natures Recipe Lamb and Rice cut into small cubes works well. It comes in a roll like bologna or salami.

Yeah the pet botanicals comes in that roll as well. I haven't tried cherrios.. cool idea.
Kibble is fine for at home, but out in class I need something stronger to keep her attention with me!
