skin sores

Hello, I am new to the forum, and I have a red named Sita. For the past 6-8 months she has had skin sores that resemble large zits. They bother her, but since they are top-rear, she cannot really get to them. My vet is clueless as usual. She had a case of the mange about a year ago but has been tested several times since with negative results. Does anyone have any suggestions?
