Let me introduce myself

Hello my name is Nancy I am the mother of three children a 20 yr old daughter
a 17 yr old daughter and a 15 yr old son. I am 41 and I am a retired lab and x-ray tech... I own and raise AMHA miniature horses. I live on a 52 acre farm in Texas. My husband works out of the country. He is working in Chile right now. He was in Kuwait and I got to spend two months there with him.
I had gastric bypass last year and have lost over 150 lbs and I am living life to the fullest now... I love to be a helpful person so if you ever have a question I can help you with please feel free to ask.

I got him as a two yr old and I had him gelded and a friend of mine trained him and I rode him after 30 days under saddle

Welcome and congrats! Is your hubby in the military? Just wondering because mine is in the US Air Force. I know what it's like running everything by yourself. At least your kids are older and can help out.

I have one retired draft cross gelding and a 9 yr old TB gelding. I wish I had a farm in some ways, then I think of all the phsyical labor that I would have to either do or pay for and oh well...

Hi Nancy, guess we both found this forum about the same time! :) My wife and I have a 21 yr old daughter in the Army (MI) and a 19 yr old son in college, so I feel your pain!:D

Can I hazard a guess, is the 'triplecminis' your ranch 'brand'??? Be gentle now, I'm an ignorant easterner... :o Hey just had a thought, ask your husband if he saw or heard about the Dakar Rally that's been going on down there the last two weeks?

triplecminis is my sort of my farm name it is actually Triple C Miniature Horses... The hubby has not mentioned anything going on down there he is near Santiago... I will have to ask him about that....
