Little Boy Offers His Puppy To Obama Family

A little boy from Pensyllvania is offering a labradoodle puppy to the Obama family.

The puppy, is the only one remaining from the litter born to the family pet dog, as the rest of the puppies died.

Little Zack Shiley, who is in forth grade, is sending a letter to Obama, offering to give him his dog.

The Obamas have been dog hunting for what seems like for ever, and have publically stated that a labradoodle is on their short list.

Whether or not Obama will accept the generous gift is yet to be seen.

Very sweet.. but I bet they don't go that route.. I wouldn't take the kids last puppy for anything. What if there is some issue with the puppy, health or temperment? I wouldn't be put in that public a position.

Agreed Jelly8bean there could be health issues but, who better than the first family to be able to accomodate them. I hear 1st dogs have their own private vets. Besides, I've never known a politition to overlook an opportunity to generate public good will or pick up on the free positive puplicity that comes with an offer like this, so it will indeed be interesting to see what the Obama's will do.

yep i can't see the Obama family accepting a dog from some family who sells puppies

I feel sure they can cover any expenses associated.. but who wants to say support your backyard breeder by taking this puppy. Just not something that should be done.
