According to the AKC (http://www.akc.org/reg/dogreg_stats.cfm), the Doberman Pinscher ranked 18th most popular dog in the United States For 2008.

I thought dobs would rank way higher

WOW, they made the TOP 20. Maybe someday they will get to the top! If only people knew that they were good actors on TV, and not really out to bite everyone!

I'm surprised they are not higher as well, but I kind of like that not everyone has one... people have kind of forgotten what a handsome, intelligent breed they are- and totally don't realize what great loving house companions they are! :D Makes for great conversations/discussions.
