Hi! Just joined today, so here is our little back story.
Lets see, my boyfriend and I wanted a dog, and after many long nights of looking up breeds and researching dogs(and a few arguments) we both decided that the Doberman Pincher was the one for us.
We really didn't want to look out of state for a breeder and were lucky enough to find one that was some what not to far away.
After visiting the breeder, meeting the mom of the puppies and playing with puppies for 2 hours(I of course wanted to take them all home at that point) we decided on our little black and tan boy. We brought Rommel home on Aug after waiting for his ears to be done, it was a long wait and we were getting very impatient.
Rommel will be 2 in June and right now weighs 100lbs, we couldn't be happier with our choice to have a doberman, I've never had a dog with such a personality and as smart as he is. I've never laughed so hard watching him and just being around him. I have to say I'm now hooked on the breed, and doubt we'll be anything but a doberman house.
