nail biting

does anyone else's dobie have an obsession with biting there nails, i have had 2 now and both were the same especially with there dew claws lol

I can barely get him to relax and lay down while we watch a movie, he's always on the move no time to stop.

I haven't heard of this one.. is it really nail biting or is it more like itches? Mine will get somewhat obsessive about licking at a point on the paw or the dew claw.. but not actually biting. You could try the usual kid thumb solutions.. ie put some bitter apple or something else that tastes nasty on the nails if it is an issue.

oh its the nail jelly, both my dobes do it...its not a problem though, i just find it funny watchin them get all twisted up like a Contortionist lol...good also cause i dont need to do there nails ! :D

I had 2 dobes that kept their nails trimmed themselves all the time.

yeah thats why i dont mind sue, if he aint destroing a fresh cow leg then hes trimming his nails lol.
