I love that he still has a tail, every time I see a pic of him I have to do a double take.

He looks lean, but not too skinny. Shiny coat and generally sharp. I guess he just has a fussy appetite. Nice dog!

LOL I love that pic. Years ago, I had a large litter 9 little Dobies and while the vet was cropping the tails he asked if I'd ever seen any with a tail ? Well.....I had to do it, I mean we just had to experience the effect of a ten pound table cleaner ourselves. LOL He was a huge doge, and the next time your dogs little stubby tail wags so fast you can hardly follow it, imagine it with a huge bat still attached !! And you know how Dobies LOVE to wag ??
We don't crop the ears anymore, but the tails gotta go !

He looks so much like my Deano it's scary! Aside from the undocked tail, that is... rare to see those on this side of the pond. :D

yeah the dobie tail, really is a painfull thing to be hit with....when dino is excited u can really shout out loud when it wallops you, but i love it as they can properly show emotion, they can put it up properly and put it down when sad.
p.s he came from a little of 13...i had first pick :D

I have started to see a trend in undocked rotties as well as the newer trend in dobies. Maybe it will takeoff.. who knows. I would miss the classic look though, I could never do ears to mine but I appreciate the look.
