At about what age does a male dobe stop growing?

On average, they stop growing somewhere around 2 years of age.

But they do tend to fill out (ie get more weight and muscle) for a bit longer.

i was readin a book about dobies the other day that says in some cases they grow till there 4...

Dobes usually have the vast majority of their height by the time they are 18 months. From them on they mature and fill out. Some lines mature later as late as 3 or 4 years while some are more mature at 2 to 3 years.
