Not exactly sure when this limp started and it's hard to see but he is limping slightly. I plan to get it looked at tomorrow but I was wondering what might, other than tramua, be causing this in such a young dog. He has no pain when I put pressure anywhere on the leg. Thanks for any ideas.

Sure doesn't sound right. Clearly needs a trip to the vet. Separated from the litter a bit early? The only thing I can think of that would cause limping (regardless of age) would be a Cruciate ligament issue. Also be sure to contact your breeder and discuss. If they are a quality breeder, they should be concerned and aware if there are any health issues.

He is a Rescue puppy. We got him at 7 weeks and I know that is too early to seperate from mother and siblings. I will let you know what the vet says. Thanks for the thoughts.

Wow.. isn't that the "growing pains". Hope this doesn't last long and nothing is compromised.
Glad you got the diagnosis and medical management for the pain. Poor thing.. what a start to life. But you are there for him now, thanks for updating us. :)

Dould be Pano which is basically growing pains. Things that can help - vitamin c and alpha tablets. If it is pano it usually they outgrow it by 18 months, can move around from one leg to another but is always a good idea to have your vet check it to make sure it is not HOD> Keep us posted. Hope all is well.
