Almost appeared as if I needed to start from scratch. He had finally learned the FLIP finish and I was esctatic an then whoops, memory loss.....Funny thing, I had a dobe that was taught the other finish, we were in the ring, I made the command and NO DOG, well essentially he just walked behind me and straight out of the ring to my husbands chair and sat. I don't think we need to discuss the results of that..So now I want to keep them in view...

No, I don't have a blog but I've thought about it. I think it could be a good educational tool as well as a personal journal.
Hey Jelly are you willing to share the site for the training log example? I'm interested in doing that too. I think it could be a HUGE learning tool, especially when tied to the outcome.
Tidibole, I had to laugh about your dog leaving the ring. I'm sure you didn't think it was funny at the time though. What you just shared inspires novices like me to remember that everything won't always be perfect every time, which is one of my growth areas. Thank you.

Sue, I didn't see alot humor in it at the time but actually the spectators couldn't stop laughing. Now I look back at it and the dog is long gone and I do see the humor!!Not too long ago I entered a conformation class with my male. When he was done a friend asked if I could show her dog as she had a conflict. I did and all of a sudden I see this BLACK streak go by in the ring and jump directly on the judge as if to ask if perhaps she would like to reconsider her previous decision Thank goodness, she was wonderful and someone else came and took him out of the ring. Dogs can make you humble and appreciative for their dedication and intelligence.
