Take away the pungent smell by sprinkling some baking soda on his coat. Use your fingers to work into the fur. Baking soda is like nature's perfume and it absorbs odors.

Hmmmm I don't know if I would put baking soda on my dog :p
I think it would get everywhere in my house :)
But what i do is brush my doberman 3 times a week and that apparently get's rid of the smell;)

Do dobermans usually smell bad? Worse than other dogs? I mean most dogs smell bad anyway. Don't know about using that baking soda though.

I think most dogs smell the same and my post did not have the intention of saying that doberman is the smelliest, poor doberman :(
