Hello all my name is Wes I am in the process of getting a cute little doberman puppy *female picking her up on 5/16* from what i believe is a very good kennel, sire has a strong pedigree with hip testing *excellent shape* and VWD testing * same with the mother just not as strong of a pedigree as the sire*

also both sides are clear of the Z factor so that makes me feel better about the breeder. and also their kennel is very nice and well maintained and the parents both seem very well mannered and tempered as well.

I have always loved the look of the doberman and once i actually got to be around some i found that they are super smart and pretty at the same time! Growing up i was never allowed to have a big dog let alone one with such a fierce reputation so i settled for what i thought to be the next best thing a Miniature Pinscher! shes 12 years young and still spunky and looking foward to her new "little" sister

happened to see this forum while i was looking for a place to watch Eye's of an Angel and thought it would be nice to talk to fellow doberman lovers and see if any where in the st. louis area

Trying to think of a name for the new puppy but we really want to see how she acts or if she'll have any little quirks that we can name her after but so far i wanted to name her Mercedes like the car because i love cars, Dori( used in japanese drift racing a lot/ also has a greek meaning of gift), and Oshi was another thought after T.J. Oshie of the St. Louis Blues!

Me and my fiance just want our dobie as a pet so we're are going to spay her after we get her, but here are a couple of pictures of my little old lady

*Maxie's Midnight Mayhem* aka Maxie! appropriately named b/c she was very much a trouble maker at night in kennel we got her from and she still likes to cause a ruckus when everyone is asleep

Nice looking dog. I've only seen a hand full of "Min Pins" around here (Brantford Ontario).

Yay picked her up Saturday but don't have my computer unpacked or any Internet connection either ( just moved into a new house Friday)

She went from being an average sized pup in the litter to being the biggest female in just 2weeks and she had the largest paws hopefully shell get around 90 lbs without being fat :)

And we named her Nyx

I also bought my puppy from casinokennels. Hope you have better luck than myself. I was given a bit of a discount because the tails on the whole litter were horrible and needed to be re docked, the dewclaws were not properly removed, so my dog not only had stitches in the ears, but the tail and legs. Painful ordeal. THEN is was found that it had demodectic (?) mange from the mother, so we are STILL doing skin scrapings and dips every other week which is costly. NOW, my dog developed head tremors! I have only bought from very qualified breeders in the past, spending ALOT of money on them. I love her dearly, and she is my family member, but realize that you get what you pay for. NEVER have I had any problems with my other breeds in the past like her. It feels like it will be a lifelong vet visit.

Thanks, I will. I would love to hear from anyone out there who has gotten pups from the same breeder to see if this was an isolated case that she has had so many problems that have been out of my control.
