Jett had a big day yesterday. We rescued a beagle that had to have major surgery--55 stitches in one ear (neglect by former owner), brought her home from hospital yesterday and she's crated in the living room. Jett is sooo concerned and takes toys to the crate, giving her a comfort offerings. If she moves Jett is there and looking at me to do something. She's laying there now with her nose right on the crate door giving Marty sympathy looks. Isn't it amazing how dogs can just tell when another one is hurt.
Then last evening a friend brought his family (wife & 2 kids) and his 3 mo. doberbaby girl to meet Jett and get help taping the pups ears for the first time. At first Jett was went tippy toe as the pup came up to her and looked at me with that "what the heck is this crazy thing sniffing my legs?" Didn't take long until it was full blast fun between friends inside and out of the house. Jett loved the kids and cried when they all left.
