Oh don't those boys just look like little Tidiboles.....some nice looking puppies. I bet you guys are excited with them. The two males look like they have some forechest and one looks like he may have a little more bone and substance than the other one. It will be fun to see how they look in another week or two. Which ones are you most interested in did you get pics of them tonight. I know you are looking at a male. Best of luck to you choosing your new show puppy or puppies. And isn't that just how it is they never want to cooperate when you are trying to stack them. I always have such a hard time choosing my next show puppy. I told Kristen this time that we are going to hold on to puppies until they are four months old if I have to ....just to make sure that I don't put the wrong puppy in a companion home......I don't want to take any chances. :D

Thank you - They are little chunks - especially 2 of the boys and 2 of the girls. One of my best friends is hoping to get a nice show female, one is going to a working/obedience home and I hope to have a really nice male to keep. One familiy has shown before and I am working hard on getting them to show again one of the girls - they already home one of my dogs that is 6 years old now. They are all so even in temperament that one has not popped out truly except of course in the girls. I want a male so the grils are the showy ones.

They are not their best at 7 weeks. They were better at 6 so hopefully they come back together at 8 before they so south again. My Eika line stays pretty consistent and I can tell at 8 weeks , but Ayla's line although closely related on the top side does not stay as well - Not sure about this combination. I know the SA dogs go through some funky growth spurts til they come back together.

I usually pick two that I like and keep them at least 12 to 16 weeks. That is what I did with Ayla only because I LOVED Ayla's firey temperament but she was the runt and did not show me the bone I wanted. Then at about 14 weeks she caught up and came together bone and all and now is 26" and very nice bone. So I don't rush to send of one if I like it and I keep all puppies til right at 10 weeks.

I agree this is why as I said before we will be holding on to the top females out of our litter we will be breeding......I don't want to make a mistake. I am doing all in my power to make sure that we hold onto the best in the litter...and it is amazing that they are there one week and all apart the next week.....I see it all of the time in the dobermans and the weimaraners.....It just so helps to have a dog jump right out at you in the litter with attitude plus.....that is how we chose the Weimaraner that we kept from our one litter. He did have faults but I am telling you that nine times out of every ten he was in the ring that dog cleaned clocks because he screamed winner to the judges. We had judges comment all of the time about his Hey Look At Me Attitude........it helps.......for sure. And I do believe that is what helps our daughter do so well in the ring with her current female being shown. She does have her faults but she screams attitude and it helps make the difference. That dog just sweats attitude from her pores......LOL. :D I know it helps and for our Weimy that is why he won multiple group placements and multiple BISS wins. We named him BOB and so many times people would kid us because of his name.....I would look at them and say laugh all you want but he is true to his name BOB (Best Of Breed) My next dog I am going to name BIS.....LOL

Hope to see more photos as soon as possible.......

Well I have to get better at picture taking. Acutally it is my Hubby who needs to get better. We almost come to a knock down drag out when we take pictures. O are taking a road trip this weekend to visit my best friend in Mississippi - she and I started in Dobes just about the same time and have been best friends ever since We got to show together in Wentzville this year - Neither of our boys did well but we had a ball. She will help me take some pictures and hopefully they will be better. She is getting a little female for show if we feel there is a good show prospect and I am planning on keeping a boy.
