Just thought that I'd vent a little to a group of people that'd understand exactly how tenacious dobes can be...
I woke up this morning to find the remote control with the back taken off and the batteries missing. ( The remote had been up on an end table, not on the floor) I go into a full panic attack looking for the batteries and realize that they're gone. All the while mommy's tearing the sofas apart, little miss Olive is wagging her tail at me and "smiling" because she's happy to see me. Of course I rush her to the vet and sure enough, there they are on the x-ray. They tried to get her to vomit them up since they were still in her stomach, but no success. She's having surgery today and I can go and get her tomorrow.
I just thought I'd let y'all know that she's been up to some mischief...I have never owned a dog that would seek things out to eat that weren't edible :)
