allergies in dobies

i am taking care of a 4 ear old male,he is underweight,has dandruff, smells bad and has had been diagnosed as hypothyroid, he is always hungry and am feeding him 3 cups of food 2 times a day,his skin is dry and he constantly scratches and now is wearing a cone and a t shirt to see if this will help heal his skin,his nipples are also swollen, the vet has prescribes a lot of natural herbs,but this has not seemed to help much, he is on a diet of people food consistin of beef,veggies and rice,is there anyone that can offer some help for him

gram: I posted on this but my computer blipped and I have no idea where it went. Anyway, I was wondering what did the vet says he's allergic to? How long has he been on the "people food?". If you have pics it might help to see his skin condition. If what the vet prescribed isn't working have you thought about getting a second opinion? Keep us posted.
