How old are they? What happened to the dam? We need more info to give any info that would be helpful.

Bridgette - I am a very concerned about these puppies. From what you posted I feel both puppies are in grave danger and recommend you take them to the vet immediately. Based on the info given I don't feel you have a great deal of knowledge dealing with puppies so we all here want to help but we need info. Go to the vet. I pray it is not too late. Please let us know.

i agree from the little info you provided it sounds like they might of been taken from their mother too early. A trip to the vet is best for all of you at this point

They have been to our vet for an initial check. She said they are healthy considering being taken from their mother at a week old.I have been feeding them for 3 weeks now. It just seems Kasey is so much stronger than Morgan. Also thanks to everyone for their concern for my pups.:)

At 4 weeks of age I hope you have them on some food also. My puppies start eating food at two weeks so by three weeks they are on 3 meals a day plus nursing. They need more as they grow. I don't know when the initial check was but they probably need to see the vet again if you are concerned. Puppies are very fragile. If you don't know what to start feeding puppies you can PM me.

Bridgette - How are the puppies doing???? Are they eating solid food???? I would never consider weaning puppies before 5 weeks but they should be on a combination of solid and nursing and strong. Please update us all and let us know how they are doing. We worry about these babies.!!! Hope all is well.

Yes all is well. I have been so busy between working and my rat terrier and the puppies I haven't had a chance to do anything. Kasey and Morgan are doing wonderful. Morgan is still a little behind but she has a clean bill of health from the vet. Thank you and everyone that was concerned about my babies.

Hand rearing puppies, such a hard job, well done you for managing to find the time to fit it all in. At 4 weeks would they be able to lap milk from a dish rather than you having to sit and feed them? Good luck anyway.

Thanks. They are 8 weeks old now and rowdy. But we are trying to be diligent
with their training. Training now will be much easier than training later.:)
