Gunner got his stitches out!!!!

WE MADE IT!!! I took Gunner stitches out yesterday. He did not lick or chew on them. I am so so so thrilled. Dr saw him yesterday and said he looked great for having just had surgery. Gunner kept getting in front of me as if to say - HEY DON"T forget me take me HOME with you!! He is such a ham. Another week and Dr. Becker said he could have a little more freedom and be out in a larger area. Gunner is soooooooooo ready to run. He is like a race horse that hasn't run for a month of Sundays.

Yay for Gunner! I'm glad he's doing well! He's such a good boy for not messing with the stitches.

You feel so much better once the stitches are out. A few days later you start really thinking they are OK and all you have to do is wait for the hair to regrow. Yeah for Gunner!

Thank you everyone - I am so happy for my boy. Hopefully this next week we can start training again and get him back in shape. The worst is behind us now.
