Hi, I have 2 dobie girls aged 18months.not full sisters but closely related.

I got them both from a friend, the first one had a weak ankle and was given to me cos the friend didn't want to sell her and didn't want her breeding from. The 2nd one was being delivered to a new home 400miles from my friends home when the new prospective owners rang my friend and cancelled...so, my friend carried on her journey and the intention was the friend and pup stay here for the weekend and then go home.and the pup stayed(but the friend did go home!)

I am totally new to dobies and find some of the stuff they do hard to get my head round..like being on a permanent mission to find food.any food!

I live in very rural Scottish Highlands, there are other Dobies up here but they are very few and far between.

We have other dogs, mainly terriers and we live on an isolated farm.

Feel there is so much I need to learn about this breed, glad to have found this site.

LOL@ terriers!!! Think our JRTs are about the only things that can wear the dobies out! Don't know how we would have coped without them.lol

Tandy - Welcome to the Hub and to the wonderful no other like it world for the Doberman Pinscher. the love of our lives, protector of our hearts and stealers of our food. Did we say food driven???? The are the best of the best wrapped into one very tight package. We can tell you have a very generous heart to take in these girls. Now you will learn about true loyalty and service. (They will be loyal - YOU will be the servant) ROFLOL!!!

Hi. The Scottish highlands must be a beautiful place, and I can just imagine a Dobe growing up there. They love to run....and run and run. Please send us some pictures when you can.
