Renic takes Winners Dog for another point!!!

I am super excited!!! Renic was a rock star Saturday and took Winners Dog for another point. He then went on to BOS! This is the second time I have handled him but the first time I have won with him! (He was handled by a jr. handler his first point.)

On Sunday, he was Reserve Winners. there were only 3 dogs, but hey! A win is a win and a point is a point! lol!

I will post the win picture when I get it!

thanks guys! I was pretty excited! there is another show Nov 14 and 15th but last years breed count showed one dog and one bitch. I think I am still gonna go to practice being in the ring. maybe there will be one other dog that we could beat and get 2 more points! that would be awesome!!

how long does a win picture usually take? I am so impatient! ( I am pretty sure I look like a goon, but hopefully Renic will look good! )

I usually have my win photo within a couple weeks. It depends on which photographer took it but they are pretty good about getting it out. They know we are ANXIOUS.

There have to be 3 dogs for a point to be awarded unless their is a point in bitches and then the dog has beat the bitch to pick up the bitches point. There would have to be more dogs or more bitches for it to be two points unless your area is different in point count.

in our area there has to be 2 dogs for one point. so I was thinking if there are at least 2 dogs, and I got one point each day, then we would get 2 more points over the course of the weekend. I didn't mean 2 points in one day, lol. sorry for not being clear.

As per my last catalog 2/2009 Illinois (area) requires 2 dogs and 3 bitches for 1 point.

Good job, there is something to be be said when you are a part of a team of 2, you and the dog, very self gratifying. I pointed my Dobe male owner handled! not unlike the situation with you! But I will tell you the thrill came from my Weimy getting pointed in a very nice class with a handler. Although he went WD the first day, the remaing 2 he went reserve. I was thrilled and still am. But it would have neen much better had I f done that myself but oh well!!!Congrats and much luck!

thanks. he only got one point last show but I am hoping he will be able to get more at the show in Nov. we will see I guess, can only hope for the best.
