I was just glancing at Puppyfind.com and came across a really nice ad for puppies in the Midwest. Sho-Me kennels has a new litter.. There are several nice photos of the sire and the dam. These look like they are going to be beautiful babies.

Yes Tami has some very nice dogs. She is fairly new to Dobermans but her whole family is involved. Her daughter is handling and doing an awesome job. She will be a handler to be wreckended with when she becomes 18. She handled poodles before Dobermans but she is a natural. She just has that touch.

I didn't realize that you were looking for a puppy. I wanted to let people know who were looking in the immediate area. But I am sure that ShoMe will appreciate your validation.

Yes since we met her at the intl I have gotten to visit with her a few times since. She handles Trotyl who is probably the most talked about stud dog for the past 3 years or so. Tami showed him as a special at the Sullivan Show where Shrock got his first major.

My boy's sire is Arg. Ch. Nonino de Black Shadow, who is a litter mate to Trotyl. you can always tell these Black Shadow dogs by their striking head pieces. I have people comment on Renic's head all the time, and the people who know dobes usually ask me if he is a Trotyl son, lol!! I say, "nope, he is a Trotyl nephew." lol

and yes, I really like the dogs at ShoMe.

My boy is partially Arg bred I know his weaknesses and where improvement is needed. The Arg influence has a definite postive and negative aspect to a breeding program. Heads are open to discussion as everyone has a different idea on that matter. Some of the Arg headpieces are very nice others are terribly coarse. Ch. Von Merlis Let's Make a Deal, again in my opinion had the perfect head. I was fortunate enough to have one of his sons and he too had a gorgeous head. It is necessary before making blanket statements to realize that many of what is considered to be the standard "point" are open to intrepatation not only by the breeder, exhibitor but also the judge. In order to understand the present it is necessary to comprehend the past.
