Very Nice Magazine generally has Fall stud issue!!! There are others but this is my favorite!l Primarily conformation with some good articles, pedigrees and obedience. Many nice quality photos. I have the Quarterly dating from 1978 which apparently transformed to the Digest! Invaluable reference. There are occassional back issues available on EBAY for very decent prices!

The other magazine is the Doberman Magazine. They are both very competative. The old Doberman Quarterly was much easier IMO. It came out quarterly, was full of dogs and info - now they publish it monthly or e/o month so placing ads gets very expensive plus they are not cheap and now you have to advertise in two different magazines. Last time I checked $60.00 a year subscription.

Yes anytime I find the old magazines I buy them. I love to look back at the top dogs from the past and see what they looked like and how we have changed or not. I got 20 from a friend who was cleaning out her duplicates. Some data back to the 80's. I could sit for horus and read them..
