2 degrees here tonight-wind chill factor 5 below. ALL of our dogs are inside so Jett is enjoying being with 3 beagles now full time until it's decent enough to re-kennel the 2 visitors. Even with some heat in the kennel I worried it wouldn't be warm enough, especially for our 8 yr. old field champion who had been ill last week. Jett is in 7th heaven because there is always someone ready to play and it's her first real exposure to a male dog. She thinks he's pretty interesting! ;) haha We've had several belly laughs at their antics so even though it's dogs everywhere, we're enjoying them all together :).

Brrrr is right, cold here in Canada too. Though warm here in Phoebe's favorite spot!

I introduced Deano to our woodstove this past Sunday. I don't think he got further than 10ft away from it all day. :D

My dobie does not want to go outside it is so cold. I have purchased several sweatshirts and his chest is so thick I have to taylor many of the clothes for him. Has anyone ever purchased clothes for their dobie and they fit correctly? If so where?

I have a coat I use for my Sara. It is basically like a horse blanket and has a belly band and a front closure, both using velcro. This works great and she feels freer and more comfortable than when I tried the tshirt route. (she was so unhappy with it she either shut down when I put it on or she worked at eating it). Really the horse blanket design works best for larger dogs to my mind, and they hold up alot better.

It is horribly cold here as well, and my puppies seem intent on finding the sunny spot on the rug and curling up there (unless I put a blanket over them as I do Sara, the spoiled little brat LOL)

Love that pic of Phoebe in front of fire :) We now have a foot of snow and it's still snowing, supposed to for next 3 days. Jett loves playing in it, but doesn't stay out very long.

LOL, thanks sometimes I have to slide her back from it as she gets right up to it short of putting her nose on the glass.
I was on a website ordering a collar for Phb and noticed a coat comparable to a horse blanket. Not sure if I am able to post the website but if interested let me know....it looked of good quality, fleece lined and adjustable on sale for $22.

Plug for a company that makes great outdoor products for dogs and custom fits: http://www.k9apparel.com/

I have the fleece warmer, winter coat and boots, and the rain coat for Deano. All are well made, fit great, look great and function as advertised! :)

No, I don't know the owners or get kickbacks. ;)

Thank you for a great link. I can see my dogs now going out on the town in all kinds of weather now. I am going to order a couple of those coats. They look great.
