Agility is a great venue for dobies and also fun to watch. My dogs love the tunnels
. The AKC National will be in Tulsa,OK March 26-28. Anyone one coming or competing?

I would love to be able to train someone for Agility. It looks like great fun and I think I have a dog or two that would love it. I would bet that our granddaughter's whippet would be a hoot at that. I don't even know of any place close by to train for agility.

I was really proud of Yvonne Mancinos, from Pataskala, Ohio, and her red bitch, Flare at the Agility Nationals. She came in 2nd in her Ht. division by only a part of a second. I was proud she walked her through the stands later so that people could see her, showing what a stable breed dobermans can be around people. The crowd loved her! I took a picture but it didn't do her justice.

I didn't get all the titles she has but there is part of her name:

MACH 4 Thornwoods Flare MXF WAE CGC AP.......and there is more I just didn't get it all.

Enjoyed the day and seeing our breed do well make it even better. :D

Rhiannon - if you are really interested then go to the AKC website and find an AKC club close. Call them. Most of them have agility training or can recommend who does.

Does anyone know the names of the winners of agility in Topeka Doberman Nationals. I am looking for a woman who won a title there. Her name is Debbie and she has brown hair. She has a 7 year old bitch. That is all I know. I have the video of her and her dog that I can send her but don't know how to get in touch with her. if anyone knows her, tell her to email me: Dara Baumann email: serbmex@gmail.com

If it was akc run then try contacting them, you can also try DPCA and you should get info that way also. Contact the sponsors of the National I'm sure they have a listing of their winners. Von

I believe the AKC National Agility competition was an invitational of the top agility dogs in all breeds. Some were dobermans.
